FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
HOW DO I BOOK IN A SESSION WITH YOU?
Send me an email through my contact form - or email me at email@example.com I will then respond with some date suggestions for your session along with some information about your booking. You will then be require read over and sign a Contract. I will require a signed contract, along with a $250 non refundable but transferable deposit for all sessions, or $1000 deposit for weddings which is payable upon booking. The deposit will be deducted from the total session fee. This will be send over to you once we have locked in a date for your session.
WHEN DO SESSIONS TAKE PLACE?
Please get in touch to lock in your session. All of my IN HOME sessions take place at 10am or 4.30pm Monday - Thursday with the occasional weekend available. All of my OUTDOOR sessions are strictly from 4.30pm (winter) and 5.30pm (summer) up until sunset (for that gorgeous golden afternoon light) both weekday afternoons and weekends - However my weekend sessions book out quickly. If you like that golden light then an outdoor session would suit what you are after.
If you are thinking of booking in please try and book as early as you can as I often book out months in advance.
WHERE SHOULD I HAVE MY SESSION?
Your session can either take place in your home or at an outdoor location that you wish. Lets get creative with your session! If you enjoy hanging at the beach, enjoying a summer picnic or hanging out at your favourite spot then lets photograph there! Lets stay true to your family and capture those memories of what your family loves most. Head over to my locations page to see some awesome spots!
I PAID MY DEPOSIT - WHEN IS FINAL PAYMENT DUE?
Final Payment will be due 14 days prior to your session. Payment plans are available and credit cards are also accepted - Just ask me how and I can set this up for you. Bank transfers are preferred.
How Many Weddings do you book a year?
My wedding season is capped at 15 weddings per year to ensure every client has all of my details and attention.
WHAT HAPPENS ONCE THE SESSION ENDS - WHEN DO WE GET OUR PHOTOS?
After your session I will edit all of your images, select your gallery and upload them to your Password Protected Online Gallery within 3 weeks of your session. I will then order any products including Albums and Prints and then upload your images to a USB for final delivery. You will receive these within 4 - 6 weeks of ordering.
I HAVE ALREADY PURCHASED YOUR PACKAGE - CAN I UPGRADE TO PURCHASE SOME PRODUCTS LATER?
Yes you certainly can! I have sourced some beautiful products from a variety of professional suppliers. I have a variety of upgrade options available, including enlargements, albums or prints. These can all be viewed in person in my studio or I can bring some along to your session. You can view all of my products here.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO OUR SESSION?
If you are unsure of what to wear for your session I have created a Pinterest board of some ideas to inspire you! I do suggest wearing Smart Casual clothing which complements each other. I suggest light and natural colours such as grey, white, navy, peach, rose pinks, mustard or olive. I do suggest staying away from Black or bright colours ( i.e pinks and purples) Don't be shy about flaunting your style. If you love stripes or or flowy floral dresses then wear them to your session! I also request that no clothing with brand names slashed across them as it is distracting in your images. If you are unsure then send me across some images of your outfits and i can help you choose. WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS OR SOMEONE IS UNWELL TO ATTEND?
This is no issue - and no extra charge. I am always happy to reschedule to another date. If you are unwell please get in touch ASAP and we can change the date of your session.
WHATS INCLUDED IN MY SESSION?
All of my session fees include my time spent with you in your session, digital files which includes minor image retouching in both colour and black and white, an online gallery and a complimentary slideshow for you to share with friends and family.
DO I HAVE TO SIGN A CONTRACT?
Yes you do. The contract is an important legal document outlining exactly what you are getting in your session. It is there to protect both you and me. Please note that all of my session fees include my time spent with you in your session, digital files which includes minor image retouching in both colour and black and white, an online gallery and a complimentary slideshow for you to share with friends and family.
