Prior to booking all of my weddings I like to meet with both you and your partner to ensure we are the best fit for each other.

My approach to capturing your big day is capturing whats real between you both. I like to photograph as natural as possible. Capturing your true love for one another, the connection you have together, the in between moments throughout your wedding day, your friends and family enjoying themselves.

Please note that my wedding season is capped at 15 weddings per year to ensure every client has all of my details and attention. I am always up for an adventure so contact me for destination weddings and elopements.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

HOW DO I BOOK IN OUR WEDDING WITH YOU?

Send me an email through my contact form - or email me at hello@emilyobrienphotography.net - I will then respond with my availability along with some information about your booking. Please note that my wedding season is capped at 15 weddings per year to ensure every client has all of my details and attention. You will then be required read over and sign a Contract. I will require a signed contract, along with a $1000 deposit for weddings which is payable upon booking. The deposit will be deducted from the total session fee. This will be send over to you once we have locked in your booking.

I PAID MY DEPOSIT - WHEN IS FINAL PAYMENT DUE?

Final Payment will be due 30 days prior to your wedding. You can pay the balance in one go or in instalments, as long as the final balance is paid in full no later than 30 days prior to your wedding day. Payment plans are available and credit cards are also accepted (credit cards will incur a small fee) Please note that Bank transfers are preferred.

WHAT HAPPENS ONCE THE WEDDING ENDS - WHEN DO WE GET OUR PHOTOS?

After your wedding I will edit all of your images, select your gallery and upload them to your Password Protected Online Gallery within 6 weeks. I will then order any products including Albums and Prints and then upload your images to a USB for final delivery. You will receive these within 4 -6 weeks of ordering.

I HAVE ALREADY PURCHASED YOUR PACKAGE - CAN I UPGRADE TO PURCHASE SOME PRODUCTS LATER?

Yes you certainly can! I have sourced some beautiful products from a variety of professional suppliers. I have a variety of upgrade options available, including enlargements, albums or prints. These can all be viewed in person in my studio.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO OUR ENGAGEMENT SESSION?

If you are unsure of what to wear for your session I have created a Pinterest board of some ideas to inspire you! I do suggest wearing Smart Casual clothing which complements each other. I suggest light and natural colours such as grey, white, navy, mustard or olive. I do suggest staying away from Black or bright colours ( i.e pinks and purples) Don't be shy about flaunting your style. If you love stripes or or flowy floral dresses then wear them to your session! I also request that no clothing with brand names slashed across them as it is distracting in your images. If you are unsure then send me across some images of your outfits and i can help you choose. WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS OR SOMEONE IS UNWELL TO ATTEND THE ENGAGEMENT SESSION?

This is no issue - and no extra charge. I am always happy to reschedule to another date. If you are unwell please get in touch ASAP and we can change the date of your session.

DO I HAVE TO SIGN A CONTRACT?

Yes you do. The contract is an important legal document outlining exactly what you are getting in your session. It is there to protect both you and me. Please note that all of my session fees include my time spent with you in your session, digital files which includes minor image retouching in both colour and black and white, an online gallery and a complimentary slideshow for you to share with friends and family.

DO I HAVE TO PROVIDE YOU A MEAL?

Yes please! I am human and I get hungry too - and being with you for most of the day I will need energy to last me through the day! As part of your contract with me, If I am in attendance beyond four hours you will need to provide a meal of the same standard as the wedding guests at the time that food is served and non-alcoholic refreshments to the photographer and any assistants . It is also requested that we sit at a guest table (wherever possible) as we find when we are sat separately we are often sent to another room while there may be events happening that we don’t want to miss.

My cousin is a photographer - can she tag along during our wedding portRaits?

Unfortunately no, as per our contract agreement that in order to ensure that I provide a professional service, I am to be the only and exclusive photographer to be used for the assignment. They are more than welcome to take photographs throughout the day - only if you wish.
